Susan McGalla Offers Advice to Women Who Wants to Succeed in Business

Susan McGalla is a powerful business person who understands just how difficult it can be for a woman to get ahead in business. Currently Susan McGalla is the head Director of Strategic Growth and Planning for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the founder of P3 Executive Consulting LLC, which is also based in Pittsburgh.

During her tenure at the Pittsburgh Steelers, she has already revamped the Steelers branded fashion line, in an attempt to target a wider variety of fans and update the brand. She has proven that Susan McGalla is a valuable asset in the boardroom, just as much as any man. She has been a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and this fandom has helped her to understand the brand and understand what fans want.

Because of her unique position she has taken the time out to offer advice to other women who want to succeed in the business world. She knows and bas experienced some of the discrimination that women face at different stages of their career. One of the biggest things that has allowed Susan McGalla to succeed is her perseverance, and her unwillingness to believe that she is less than or not capable of the same things as her male counterparts.

It is this advice that Susan McGalla gives to other young women. She believe that if they work hard and do not let other people get in their way, and take the opportunities that they are given, they can also succeed in the business world. Susan McGalla believes that sticking to your principles and remaining ethical are an important aspect of being successful in the business world.

Susan McGalla was raised just outside of Pittsburgh, where her father, a football coach, introduced her to the Steelers fandom, and taught her that she could be anything she wanted to be. Susan McGalla has extensive experience in fashion and retail, including management. She began her career at the Joseph Horne Company, where she worked from 1986 to 1994. She left the the Horne Company to join American Eagle Outfitters where she eventually moved up the ranks to become President and Chief Marketing Officer of the entire company. After American Eagle she left to join Wet Seal, where she was CEO for several years, before she left the company to become an independent consultant.

    I was very surprised when Susan left the the Horne Company to join American Eagle Outfitters. That was a brave move for her. That also inpired me to buy paper online to write more about my project. Thanks Susan for such.
